This year sees the introduction of what is building as an exciting new festival for the region – the inaugural La Fiera Italian Festival in nearby Myrtleford from 22 – 24 May.

This is a great opportunity to enjoy the best we have to offer up here by using Bright as your base while visiting Myrtleford and the many other attractions, like the snow! As the La Fiera website says:

La Fiera Myrtleford promises more than your average festival! It is a celebration of the Italian way of life – from their food and wine to sport, film, religion, culture, art and music.

And, as it also says, accommodation in Myrtleford will be limited … There is however plentiful accommodation in Bright.

Queens Birthday long weekend 6th – 8th June

Bright is the perfect venue to enjoy the last long weekend of the year. The weekend marks the official opening of the ski season and, snow or no snow, there’s plenty to do in beautiful sunny Bright, which is brilliantly located close to the mountains.

Our winter days are typically fine and the town is a hive of activity with its many restaurants and fine shops. Take a trip to the snow for the day but make sure you stay in Bright to enjoy the best of both worlds.
